Now that Pokemon Go has introduced non-Pokemon aliens from beyond the Ultra Wormhole
I wonder what tier of canon that puts them in.
Those guys were in Ultrasun/Ultramoon! Not this specific character, but the Alien People. There were four of them that were named, and they lived in a massive futuristic city.
It was really cool looking, but they didn’t actually do that much with them. In general people also thought that the games were worse then sun/moon, Which i could understand to a point. (A lot of the plot relied on knowing the plot beats of the original, to directly compare and contrast. While that was fun to do, as a stand alone sun/moon definitely told a much more compelling narrative. )
The lore was fun though. I wish pokemon would use them more often.
I always did wonder how far they went to try to spice up Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and make it stand out from its predecessors
especially given the rumors that they were originally going to be positioned as Switch exclusive.
Seems like an idea with a lot of potential to revisit, but sadly I just don’t see Game Freak bothering.
