The announcement sounded inside the whole supermarket. People stopped whatever they were doing to listen to the voice coming out of the speakers while some had already decided to get a headstart for the eggs.
You weren’t any exception. The second you heard the PSA, you grabbed Ushijima’s hands. The boy was flustered and dropped the carrots that he was holding as his head whipped to look at you.
His puzzled expression couldn’t match the determined one that was on your face. Before he knew it, his feet were already moving in sync with yours as you dragged him to Aisle 5.
