More landscape study! Followed @noahbradley’s first art camp videos (the ones free on his YouTube). Truth be told, I didn’t even know what values were until now. I’m pretty happy with my results! Definitely planning on doing more, and eventually moving on to color. ;)
I can’t afford the rest of his class right now, but hope to one day!

Been trying to improve my color and value painting skills by doing little observational oil pastel studies lately. For some reason I feel like I understand it better when using traditional media instead of working digitally. Plus, always nice to have a little “assignment” I know I can get through quickly and get results!
