“Vanitas acts like someone who doesn’t care about others, but is extremely self-sacrificing. Whereas Noé acts as a righteous character, but would not really go past what he already feels safe with (as depicted in the scene where he felt grateful he was alive although his friend died). This is where the two contrast and perhaps this is probably one of the reasons why Noé kills Vanitas later on.“

Like, I know none of our vampire mains have actively expressed their hatred for Luna, but come on. You don’t need to be genius to realize that they despise the person who has attempted to commit literal genocide against them :/ btw, this is the reason vanitas usually makes it a point to not give his name to his patients, in case you haven’t connected the dots yet lol. This fandom needs every thing to be spelled out for them.“

“I hate how this fandom perceives the main 4 characters. I feel people try to so hard to fit them into this image they have made up of them inside their head, and completely choose to ignore what canon shows on them. “They’re erasing vanitas eye bags in the anime and it’s lowkey annoying. He’s clearly insomniac and in catacombs arc his dark eye bags were very visible in the manga. I just think it was important for him to look so exhausted considering he is knowingly going to go see his abuser.“

“I was always confused as to why Domi thought Noe liked Jeanne, I thought it was clear that he’s more interested in Vanitas. I thought this may have to do with me seeing the story through shipping lens (I ship Vanoe) but then again, Noe doesn’t interact with Jeanne that much in the story. Watching episode 7 made me realise why Domi would think that. That time when Noe was still confused about his feelings about Jeanne sucking Vanitas’s blood probably caused her to think that he was interested in her and she then probably thought him telling her that he was jealous of Jeanne getting to suck Vanitas’s blood before him was him being too naive to realised he was interested in her. While we the audience got to see how Noe really did want to drink vanitas’s blood, Domi didn’t. This happened so early in the series that I didn’t realise that was why this was the reason.“

“I really want to see Domi/Vanitas bonding in future chapters. Not in any shipping or romantic way, but in that they’re two people who despite their mutual animosity (though that’s mostly Vani’s fault) have a lot in common in that they share the guilt of being the cause of death of a close family member just by being born. I would love to see them eventually become friends.“
