“The anime is starting to very much irritate me. I’m fully expecting them to make vanitas’ trauma in catacombs underwhelming as hell with how they keep failing at portraying his character. Ball masque was bad enough, but the anime even made it seem like vanitas’ whole “I’m not interested in the kind of person who would love me” was him being cool or something and not like he hates himself to the extreme. The anime seriously sucks. It’s pretty to look at, but that’s it. I could write paragraphs on the ways they fail at capturing other characters as well, but I’m gonna shut up now. Anyway, read the manga ❤️“
