sorry this is so clustered and sketchy, i initially had these sketched out just to flesh out this nuru headcanon i had but the little demon living in my head kept telling me to clean up the sketches and post them instead of making nice lineart and organized panels so here we are.
I like to imagine that the group firmly believes that Nuru is the most likeable person on earth, so when they run into a past rival of hers on their adventure they literally don’t know how to react to Nuru acting agressivley to someone else. Also I headcanon that Nuru is really good at dancing.
I can’t for the life of me seem to consistently finish anything nowadays so here’s a giant pile of random junk I’ve kept up over the last month that I have no idea what to do with

I had fun with the lighting in these! Except that I done doofed in some of the pages and had to alter them and that made me mad lol. Things get spicier later in this chapter and Varian honestly needs a break.
I understand that Ulla is essentially the final boss, but at the same time I don’t doubt that she’d still be genuinely excited to see her son seeing as how they did hit it off very well before their conversation drifted into the “oh no” territory, and how she was very proud of him once he convinced her to leave things to him. Also it’s probably weird how she seems so excited to see another person in the eternal library given how she wants to keep the world out, but I figured a near two decades without human interaction would probably make you excited for anything. Not to mention the presence of another person would mean a way to exit the library for Ulla.
