AU where things went a little differently for Varrick and Zhu Li. His little business with his one canoe never really took off, but he still met Zhu Li, a young woman from a harbor town, who he fell in love with and married.
I.e. soulmates always find each other AU.

Yuka (the one with the glasses) and Makoda (the one with the necklace) are fraternal twins, they dual run the company once Varrick retired, Makoda running the business end of things and Yuka running the engineering side.
Makoda’s wife is from the Northern Water Tribe, and Yuka is often too focused on her inventions to really settle down.
I wanted to draw Varrick on a horse with a billowy top because why the hell not.
Nose boops in the after glow is something that can be so personal.

2020 goals consist of creating Zhurrick art that would’ve made me mad jealous when I was 15.
