I’ve had the honor of working on a little project with these lovely and diverse group of girls. We wanted to create and image that stands for unity between women of color in the pinup community … so often we are underrepresented, silenced and alienated so we wanted to create something for ourselves together. Today it feels like this message has an added layer of importance with the events that transpired yesterday in regards to George Floyd. The black community cannot undo systematic racism alone we need our allies to stand up and speak up with us. I hope you enjoy this project and take a good look at the spectrum of color that is present in the pinup community.
