Hey folks!!
A really old video here! And I think this is one of my favorite music in all the world.
“Lord of the Rings Medley” was the first medley of Lindsey Stirling that I saw and the first music I heard she plays. Alison version is one of my favorites and since I started to play violin I want to play this song. I can’t play all version yet, but I’m very proud of my progress.
Now, I’m playing for exactly 2 years and I hope to do a “then-and-now” video.

I’ve been trying to change some habits to build more efficient and healthier routines. One of the biggest changes I’ve made this month is to start practicing in the morning.

I’ve found that I’m more productive (at least when it comes to the violin) at this time of the day, even though I have less time to practice. Quantity does not always represent quality!

On this day, 5 years ago, I took my first violin lesson with Lumière, the violin! I was 27 years old and at that time, I honestly didn’t think I would be able to learn, after all I was too old for that!

Now Beren and I still have a lot to learn, I often feel frustrated and think about giving up. But music is part of me now and brings me a lot of joy, so I can say: ' !! And I’m very proud of my journey and everything I’ve achieved in those 5 years.

I haven’t been feeling well these days, so I didn’t do much piano practice (and didn’t do much violin practice too, to be honest). So, this song was the one I’ve taken the longest to learn so far and I don’t think it’s that good hahaha

After spending a few good weeks in “French Children’s Song”, today I’m starting “London Bridge” and I have a great fondness for that melody, although I can’t explain why.

I’ve been wanting to play Suzuki’s songs on the violin… Who would say! I always hated to study at Suzuki. Maybe I do a Suzuki series on the channel? What do you think?

This is one of my favorite songs! I recorded this video on March but I never published on my YouTube channel because I couldn’t remove this annoying beep in the background. I think I stopped to record and post because of this…
But I liked the atmosphere, so maybe I will try again this kind of scenario in the future.
In this video I was playing for 1 year and 9 months. It was my first time trying to play in the third position and I didn’t do vibrato in this music.

It’s been a long time since I showed to you what I’m practicing, so here is a little of Minuet 1 of Bach from Suzuki Method. The vibrato is terrible, I made a lot of mistakes and in the end I forgot what I was playing, but I think I’m improving!
