#voice actors
Thanks to BLM, we are seeing many White voice actors stepping down from roles that are supposed to be for BIPOC. I wonder what does this mean for the anime voice acting industry in America, or even dubbing for Japanese games like Persona. Considering that the majority of anime characters are supposed to be Japanese, does this mean that studios such as Funimation will be more conscious in hiring Asian voice actors for those roles?
Saturday, December 12th!
Sorry for the lateness of the audition casting process!
Juzo Sakakura auditions will be gone over this weekend and then a new set of auditions for Ibuki Mioda, Peko Pekoyama, & Byakuya Togami/Twogami will be set up shortly afterwards. Stay tuned~!
As always, if you have any questions, requests, critiques, or more, let us know!
Attention Danganronpa fans and Voice Actors!
We’re currently looking for someone to voice Juzo Sakakura for a future video of ours! The voice can be based on either the Japanese or English voice for him from the Danganronpa 3 Anime. Unlike previous times, no Casting Call will be made for this. If you’re interested in this opportunity, please DM us on Twitter, Tumblr or send an email to us at [email protected]! If you have any other questions, please feel to ask and we’ll get to them in time.

I am so devastated right now, this was so fucking sudden (this is the VA for macaque if y’all don’t know)
He passed away from stage 4 colon cancer. His GoFundMe is still open if you’d like to donate to that and the funeral costs to alleviate the burden from his family. He was one of my favourite voice actors of all time. Even though I rarely watch dubs, he stands out in every role he’s in. He’s talented in so many ways, and he’s so great in all of the interviews I’ve seen him in.
Rest in peace, and thanks for all the memorable performances.
