Normally Katie was a very polite and kind girl, never one to say something mean or talk behind someone’s back. She was a stark contrast to her in your face, tell it how it is friend Jenna. Jenna had always had a temper and only really got along with Katie because of how understanding and patient she was. The two of them had been friends for a long time, and would always go our for dinner on Friday night.

This Friday they had stopped for a drink after eating, and both of them were feeling a little buzzed as they walked home. Jenna was in the middle of an outrageous story that had Katie giggling up a storm when Jenna walked straight into something.

It actually turned out to be a someone, a heavyset older woman in what looked to be a series of layers of fabrics, jewelery, and beads. Jenna picked herself up off the ground and brushed dirt from her leg in agitation.

“Hey you… who the hell do you think… you are, why don’t you watch where your going you, you fat cow!”

The woman’s face nearly turned purple, she clearly was extremely offended and barely restraining herself from tossing the drunk girl into a wall. Katie watched the whole scene, and would have tried to calm them down if she had been sober, but all that she managed was a short giggle as she watched the two square off.

The older woman shot her a death glare when she heard her laugh “Two against one eh? You think it’s funny when your friend calls people fat cows huh? Well then you can be the fat cow!” The heavyset woman seemed to grow larger, and the sky darkened. Her eyes started to glow and Katie felt the world drop away below her feet, and she fell.

Katie woke up with a start, she had fallen in her sleep and was laying on the floor next to her bed and her head was pounding. nightmares and a hangover, what a way to start a day. She slowly walked to the bathroom and got out her toothbrush, only stopping when she went to put it in her mouth. Her eyes went wide and the toothbrush feel into the sink.

Staring back at her in the mirror was Katie, but not the Katie she knew. This one had horns and big floppy ears. Her nose was a short muzzle like thing, and as Katie looked down she saw a large tail swishing behind her nervously. She couldn’t believe it, she had been turned into some cow creature… by that old fat lady. At the thought of the other woman’s weight Katie’s stomach growled loudly, and she could tell the sudden and extreme hunger pains that now clenched her abdomen were the other part of the curse. She wasn’t going be able to stop herself from eating until she was a fat cowgirl.

An hour later she sat at her kitchen table with her chair pushed back. She was nearly naked and rubbing her belly, which felt stretched from her third helping of breakfast. In her near food coma, Katie wondered what had happened to Jenna, she had passed out before the old woman had spoke to her, but hopefully she had told Jenna how to reverse this curse. She needed to get this curse gone so she could stop eating and work off her growing belly and thighs, if she ever could.

She decided it was time call Jenna to find out what happened… well, right after she ordered lunch.
