Some say home is where you feel the most comfortable and to us that’s being in motion. Although this trip meets its conclusion, we know this will not be our last glance. We will continue on, knowing that we will be back to share even more miles with Oregon.

The sun sets over Mount Hood as we reflect on what we’ve experienced, how close we’ve become, and where we will go next.

Upon our arrival to Trillium Lake, a cool breeze off of the water greets us as we share a moment with our host. Our adventure has reached a new peak.

After a quick survey of the land, we park ourselves by the campfire and listen to tales of past adventures and plans for the next chapter of ours.

The ocean plays its finest playlist as we appreciate the light mist of the marine layer that drifts in off of the fog-filled coastline.

Beyond the sand dunes, a short climb takes us to a view only meant to be seen by those who stray from the path. We knew upon our arrival to Cape Kiwanda that this would be a milestone moment.

In search of the brilliant sandstones of Cape Kiwanda, we follow the sun’s directions and let the open road carry us onward.
