I am very uncomfortable with the energy we have created in the studio today
It’s weird, cuz she put out a post with a Cole as Aro/Ace hc and that got a really positive reception from the community. And this is… not that.
If you read through the comments on this one, it sounds like she’s from a pretty conservative family and is still figuring things out for herself, trying to break out of it. I wouldn’t label her as problematic or anything, just young and on a journey. It doesn’t help that she likes every single comment though. Hearting blatantly homophobic stuff isn’t exactly a great look…
I really wanna comment on it and explain why I think Kai seems bi. I’m like 90% sure this started as a genuine question, and no one’s given her an answer yet. But I am not familiar enough with bi culture to say anything other than just… vibes.
Couldn’t have said it better myself! I might be younger than arrow (I believe she’s 17, that’s at least what it says in her bio on yt) but we all develop in different fields at different rates. All I can say is I did get slightly upset by the fact that she liked many of these homophobic comments (being queer myself) but it truly isn’t the worst thing they could’ve done.

I hate to keep this going, but it just gets worse every time I look back.
It seems like Arrow is working through some pretty deeply internalized transphobia as well. It just… makes me really sad. This is tough stuff.
I just wanna give her a hug.
