Many people call the March Full Moon the Worm Moon - But I refer to it as the seed moon.This year, 2017, the Seed Moon will be on March 12th!
So, what is the seed moon? The Seed Moon is a time to recognize desires and plant the seeds for new beginnings (both literally and metaphorically). Develop yourself spiritually and physically. March’s moon is often called the seed moon because it typically a time when new seeds are started and tended to.
This moon is also called the Worm Moon because the weather is getting warmer, the ground is unfreezing, and earth worms are popping up. Worms are not only signs of healthy, fertile soil…but they bring the birds which is a sign that spring is near.
Try starting a few hearty plants indoors. As you plant each seed imagine you are planting seeds for a specific goal. Tend to your seeds as you tend to your goal, and you will be rewarded two-fold.
