Now, I don’t remember much of wordgirl except that it was my most favorite show as a kid that I hardly ever got to see episodes of, and what I do remember is this one very specific episode where she finds out that one of her enemies has a crush on her hero identity, and the whole point of the episode was that she wasn’t happy with that but holy shit did that backfire
Younger me was floored that the villain could have a crush on the hero, it was my first introduction to that, and I internalized the hell out of it, thank you wordgirl for starting my obsession with enemies-to-begrudging-allies-to-awkward-friends-to-lovers
