FinishedSaving Tobey all in one day, which is surprising to me since I have the reading speed that’s like comparing a human running to a car at top speed, but I gotta say OH GOD WHAT WAS THAT ENDING!! 

It wasn’t bad, could’ve been worse but really?! Couldn’t even end it on a happy note? Bittersweet doesn’t count!! Even if they were going to just say friends ending why make him so sad!! Ok ok, I know it’s for setting up a sequel but UGH! So much for tying everything up in a nice bow. 

And I hope nobody misconstrues this as hate for the fic, the only reason I’m even mad about it is because I enjoyed reading it so much. I even have screenies of my favourite lines!

Falling into the WordGirl fandom for me is like getting beaten up by my childhood heroes ‘cause it’s like “oh my god I know these guys! They’re so funny and great!” and then there’s the sucker punch of really angsty fics and fan art that make me re-think everything I thought I knew about them.

Like fics showing how Tobey basically needsvalidation was obviously not what I was paying attention to when I was like 7. I mean, that’s just what happens with aging, you see things differently, but it’s more upsetting that I’m coming to this realisation about a decade later only because of fanfiction.

It’s kinda hard to tell that Tobey is a Robot at first in my drawing, but like, he’s not much different from regular tobey lol
