I hate the treadmill, so I like doing intervals to make time (and the miles) go by faster. The workout is: 1 mile warm-up 2 min. at 6.2 3 min. at 6.0 1.5 min. walk or jog break 5 min. at 5.8 1.5 min. walk or jog break REPEAT. Take breaks as needed and set the paces to your level. It should be comfortable but challenging at the same time. So you’re not sprinting all out, nor are you just jogging at an easy pace.
