✿lisa had told you about the young girl she had found on the mission and was now caring for

✿and for some reason you thought she would be just a normal child orphaned by whatever was going down??????????? ✿which was absolutely stupid

✿she glowed blue and was currently watching you and alpine sleep while lisa prepped your usual post mission breakfast date

✿“what’s her favourite breakfast food? I can make if for her!” She called through to the elder

✿“it’s okay, i got it”

✿“does she like tea? i can make her tea!”

✿her voice stirred you and alpine from dreamland

✿“good morning!”

✿she frowned when she startled both you and the white cat in your arms

✿“sorry, good morning” she whispered, a hand coming to pet alpine’s fur

✿through your entire morning routine she spoke to you at the speed of light and offered to skip time so you were done

✿you only managed to catch certain words here and there

✿“i can make it so we’re already best friends!”

✿she wraps herself around your leg while you gave your girlfriend a long overdue kiss

✿beaming up at you

✿“lili has told me so much about you and you sound so great and I’m happy to meet you and I want you to love me too!”

✿you look to your girlfriend for some sort of translation to anything she’s said

✿she started her story over again

✿you managed to get a good chunk of it before she sped up again

✿you gave up trying to understand

✿you got the basics

✿she was a cosmic cube that took the form of a child and hydra tried to make her into a weapon

✿you’d get the rest from lisa later

✿she floated off her seat at the breakfast table

✿lisa had to keep pulling her back down so she wouldn’t make a mess or float through the roof

✿she shovelled everything in her mouth

✿she trusted lisa

✿she wouldn’t give her any bad food

✿when her plate was empty she ran off to cuddle alpine

✿“so we’re mothers to a… cosmic cube that became a four year old and has the power to take over the universe?”

✿lisa nodded, flesh hand coming to link fingers with yours

✿later on while kobik was napping your girlfriend filled you in on absolutely everything

✿lisa made a cheat sheet to help you care for her while she was out

✿life with a four year old human form cosmic cube was easier than you thought

✿feed her, stop her from causing mischief, listen to her rambles, don’t let her float too high if you’re outside because she will end up in space

✿the only rule lisa set was no using her powers on unnecessary things

✿if she was left with you at home she’d swap your clothes so you both matched

✿which was just too cute for you to try punish her for

✿she also makes you flowers a lot to see you smile

✿she’s the most powerful thing in this universe but she goes into a loved up trance while watching you talk

✿literally any words you say are the most interesting thing she’s ever heard please keep going

✿you become her favourite parent in like a month

✿yeah lisa had a metal arm and is strong and saved her from hell but can she do all the voices while reading to her???

✿she ditched lisa for you and alpine ditched both of you for her

✿the white cat doesn’t even acknowledge your bedroom anymore

✿she just heads straight into kobik’s at bedtime

✿she is so protective of you

✿she doesn’t have a lot of prior experience with just plain humans

✿you’re so fragile and even though she’s the baby here she wants to protect you and keep you safe

✿so she’s on look out for danger at all times

✿she once sent your living room table into orbit because you stubbed your toe on it and it made your eyes water

✿you had no idea she could do that but it probably explains where half of your knives and your neighbours rose bush has gone

✿she’s great for both yours and lisa’s mental health 

✿she’s such a joy to have around

✿sometimes you forget that just being around her puts you at risk  

✿even though lisa is extremely happy with the child around she’s also constantly looking over her shoulder 

✿though she is your little girl she’s a threat 

✿lisa can’t risk anything happening to her best girls

✿lisa gets to catch up on so many tv shows and movies 

✿kobik consumes so much media

✿and she prefers if she’s sandwiched between you and lisa 

✿sometimes if lisa is too tired from a mission she takes over the house and cares for you

✿lisa lets her get away with breaking the rule then 

✿trips to the park are the highlight of your life

✿she can float and fly but she gets the biggest thrill from going on the swings 

✿being mundane is great
