Mina-san, here is Phantom F’s true identity- Mayu the mechanic is the true answer.

In the illustration book, as you can see, all the members including the suspect is in the illustration. But if you had purchased the lyric book, you will notice that there is one member missing.

Mayu the mechanic, is not in the lyrical book.

Everyone and the suspect are in the lyric book, except Mayu.

To those who are fans of Suzu’s illustrations, Suzu is well-known for never missing out, let alone, leave out details or characters. The fact that Mayu’s character isn’t in the lyric books says it all.

Since Mayu is the mechanic of the ship, it isn’t surprising that she knew the ins and out of the ship, giving her the advantage to steal the diamond and led everyone to believe that the thief had escaped. The problem was, when she ran back in, she accidentally hit Len the mafia down to the floor.

Fortunately, to her advantage, Len was a distrustful mafia, so whatever Len has to say that Mayu was the true Phantom thief, will not be acknowledge, because he is after all a mafia. Not even Rin the officer will believe his story.

In other words, since the entire 5 years since the song was released, Len the Mafia knew the identity all this time, yet no one believed him. XD
