Here are my thoughts on the Yashahime Manga so far,I have been seeing alott of hate going around recently between sessrin fans and inukag fans. And honestly it is getting so tiring, we are season 2 of the anime already so what is the point of all this hate? If you don’t like something just ignore it.
But anyway thats not what this rant is about,
First off my thoughts on the manga…..HOLY HELL I ADORE IT- I personally love how we were allowed to get not only a anime version of this story but also a manga version that tells it differently. Personally im a bigger fan of the Manga myself for now, and no not because of InuKag because for some reason everyone thinks that’s the only reason people enjoy the manga.
I am enjoying it because the characters seem more well rounded. I was never a fan of Towa in the anime but I started to like her instantly in the manga. I also enjoy how the girls acctually got to spend time with their parents as kids before being separated. It adds more hype behind finding out what happend and makes more sense why they want to find their parents again.
I also enjoy how setsuna and moroha grew up together, it makes more sense in my opion than them being enemies???? And then suddenly friends??? That really confused me in the anime. It also gives Towa a already formed group to fit into, it also means we might get more interesting interactions with the wolf tribe or the hidden hanyo village later since neaither girls lived there!
I loved how kaede played a bigger roll and how we even got a shippo cameo, I also really liked how kagomes family reacted to finding out Moroha was her kid, it was everything and more I ever wanted in anime.
Seeing Inukag together also brought back some nostalgia, and seeing Sessrin have these secret dates also made me connect with the ship some more, I see people complaining about how Kagome reacted to sessrin but I think everyone is forgetting- she has always been like that? She always commented on how sessomaru was softer with Rin, its not her being creepy. Its her being supportive.
It frustrated me alott in the fandom, because just because you like rin you don’t have ti hate kagome and just because you like kagome you don’t have to hate rin, its causing alott of un-needed animosity in a fandom that honestly was so much fun before the show actually aired.
