I already made a post with this video on here earlier but I decided to also post it on YouTube for better quality. A small edit I made that gives Eve and Villanelle the ending they deserved. Hopefully it can help ease some of the pain.

Yeah so all Hope, a proud Mikaelson, wanted was to be a part of Alaric’s family when her own relatives were all alive (albeit separated) and she had her mother and aunt at home in New Orleans to go back to hahahaha
Whoever the fuck wrote this hasn’t watched a single episode of TO and has very little idea about Hope’s actual characterization and the love that went into raising her.
All that little girl wanted was to reunite her own family. Not find a surrogate. That always and forever promise was very deep in her and had always been.
I’m also super pissed at how Alaric was all like the Salvatore School was Hope’s home and she should complete her transformation there. Nope, New Orleans is her home. The Abbatoir is her home, and only a writer’s room as stupid as this one could have fucked up Hope’s relationship to her heritage this badly.
sometimes, it dawns on me just how incredibly happy i am that fanfic exists as a medium. like, the amount of experiences had, the excitement and thrills and tears and joy and more that writers of fic can give to so, so many people—it’s immeasurable; it’s wonderful.
and just. what an amazing thought, you know? in a world where we’re all struggling to get by, recognising this beautiful thing we have created, knowing that we’re all sharing in taking some sort of pleasure/lesson/comfort etc from it reading and/or writing it?
