Finally.

I bought these earrings belonging to Yma Sumac from her make-up artist/caregiver several years ago and after sitting in a padded envelope all that time, I finally got them framed. I was extra lucky in that I was able to get a couple images of her wearing them, circa early 60’s. The characters on the earrings are Chinese and I was told they say ‘Esperanto’ or 'world language’. What’s interesting is that they are upside-down! I wonder if anyone ever told her…
