Getting lazier with these blog posts! Then again we’re just not doing much that warrants a whole post about it. Doing generic tourist stuff, visited Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza and Tokyo Skytree, gawked at shops, ate heavenly food, tried some funky Japanese soft drinks, did laundry (obviously necessary on a 4 week trip, though a bit tricky when you can’t read a word of what’s written on the machines) and ate some more.

The pics above are from the game/toy section of a Yodobashi Department store. They pretty much focus entirely on electronic stuff - cameras, TVs, computers, gaming and everything around it. It’s really quite overwhelming but also very cool. Plans of buying a PS4 are becoming more and more real.

A little info on the weather - so far we were really lucky. It’s warm, yet not as humid as in Hong Kong and didn’t rain at all so far. Rainy season is supposed to start in June and the south (which is where we’re headed next) gets the most of it, so we’ll see how that works out. Still, the evenings are my favourite time of the day, when the sun is gone but it’s still cozy outside so you can walk around without a jacket. Got a bit of an overdose of sun today when we were trying to find the Shabu Shabu restaurant we visited in 2012 (unsuccessfully ._.)
