A year ago today, mod Shadow was inspired by a Conker stream to make an AU/rewrite of Conker’s Bad Fur Day on the blog @conkerrewritten
Not too much time later, mod Polar wanted to do the same for Banjo-Kazooie. Putting our minds together, we came up with Rairverse. And what a fun time that’s been!
It’s hard to believe a whole year has passed since we started on this project. We’ve come up with so many concepts and so much lore, it’s been hard to keep it to ourselves! Maybe that will change soon.

Anyone remember the scratch out art from childhood? I remember I used to draw flowers with those. Anyway, I replicated it the best I could in Paint Tool SAI and doodled some head shots!

Had a lot of fun designing Laylee!! Since reading she’s a fruit bat, I gave her a fruit bat nose. I also added some more red to her design, so her nose wasn’t the only red marking she had.

I woke up with such intense rage about this super specific genre of gaming, it made me dizzy. WHY do they all have massive toes with chipped nails and every molar they got visible to the world
THIS FUCKING BOSS CAN JUST GO TO HELL (I love this game, but godDAMN!)
