Yes folks, the Dinosaur Planet animated fanseries project is far from extinct! I know we promised new material back in 2017, but we had hit some roadbumps along the way, and eventually I had to take a long hiatus from the project in order to focus on my senior film OutFOXed. But now that I have all the energy and experience I need, I’m ready to finish what I started. During the past month, I’ve been working on some new concepts and working on the final art design for the whole series (mainly the characters). Meanwhile, we have the storyboards to episode 1 completed, leaving only the voice acting and animation to be taken care of. Of course, we’re still short on animators for the project, and we’ll need some artists to help with the project’s final art design.

This is a non-profit, volunteer based animation project.
In the meantime, while we continue our search for animators, we plan to revitalize the social pages with some new concept art that me and the team have been working on. And we will be working on a series of short videos called Dinosaur Planet Legacy, which chronicles the lore of Dinosaur Planet and all its tribes. At the moment, there is no ETA for all of this, but we do know that DP Legacy will be quicker and easier to work on than an entire episode.

Yes! The project is still very much alive and we deeply appreciate your interest in our animated series. We have been working on things quietly, but have run into problems. Namely, our animation department is currently understaffed. We are working to fix this as best we can. The Cinerassic team consists of numerous voice actors, writers, artists, and musicians from around the world who are working together to make this a reality. Once we have expanded our team’s roster of animators, we will begin production on animation proper along with recording the actors and mixing the sound.

The storyboards for episode 1 are 99% complete, and we are gearing up for an announcement soon. Expect something a little different.
One of our new artists on the team, absolhunter251, has created this wonderful teaser poster for the series.

Anyone remember the scratch out art from childhood? I remember I used to draw flowers with those. Anyway, I replicated it the best I could in Paint Tool SAI and doodled some head shots!

first concept art for my Dinosaur Planet shooter-thing for my programming class… I’m having fun drawing but I don’t even know if I’m going to be allowed to use “existing characters" =͟͟͞͞ =͟͟͞͞ ﾍ( ´Д`)ﾉ
(it’s normal the Cloudrunner doesn’t have wings, I want to anime them to see how much sprites needs to be done)
