You know what they say*… a secondary source is only as good as the primary sources behind it.

The book I just got from the library wasn’t quite what I was looking for, BUT the sources they used turned out to be extremelyhandy.

*actually they don’t, but it sounds good.

Yes, yes indeed… this is quite a familiar experience!

I left Battle Cry of Freedom at home this semester. Both copies. I thought, “No, I won’t need it. It’ll only take up room on the shelf.”

I have done the same… my reenacting shoes are all but assimilated into my regular wardrobe. I also wear my shawls as scarves.
