Hi hello I’m falling hard for one of the most expensive characters in a gacha game, how are you all doing.
Her name is literally a moniker she took from a fallen mercenary because she doesn’t have one herself.
She gets found family’d by two other mercenaries but nobody in this trio can admit they actually care about the others because it’s not Done they have to be Tough.
She meets the idealistic would-be-queen of her shattered country and the queen asks her what her name is, and the queen tells her that she (the queen) hopes to make a world where W (light of my world) can choose a name for herself.
And this kid who’s only ever known battle and backstabbing and once heard a rumor about the concept of a moral compass but didn’t believe it. She decides, yes, this person is worth giving everything I am, I will follow her to the ends of the earth.
Who still to this day in present-day hasn’t forgotten her queen, even after that queen failed and died. Because the queen’s dream is still alive, in her, in everyone else who believed in her. She still has things to do.
This angsty violent morally compromised kid with mysterious origins who latches on to the only people who’ve been kind to her, and who sees that as a STRENGTH even now, because you need a purpose in life.
YES I will be spending the next 6 months saving for her.
