Fifty years ago today, at one of the earliest performances of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Mick Rock and David Bowie met for the first time at Birmingham Town Hall, England. The two established an instant rapport and Rock went on to document Ziggy’s rise and fall.
