i drew this when i was thinking about how zuko left mai with only a letter :(( imagine if he had just taken the time to talk to her..

(mai wouldve totally insisted on going with him imo. tears would be shed because theyre leaving the fire nation and everything they know behind. even if the fn isnt perfect, its still their home and where they grew up. treason isnt easy!!)
