Mikako Ishii’s magnificent performance as Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask in the Nogizaka sera myu caught me completely off-guard. Her Mamoru is so gentle, so caring, so romantic… so full of genuine emotions! That kind of tender vulnerability, almost soft sadness at times… oohh I can’t stop thinking about it!!
The fact that she said in one of the curtain calls that she kept thinking about how to best portray him, every day… she really came up with such a wonderful and touching interpretation, and you can really feel her passion for the series as a whole as well as the musical project in every one of her scenes ❤️
The actresses of the Nogizaka sera myu used to post so many cute behind-the-scenes photos during the time of the live performances, and I just couldn’t resist to redraw this one in particular :’>
Those who know me and my passion for hurt/comfort & angst won’t be surprised that some of my fav bits in the Nogizaka sera myu are Mamoru falling unconscious/dying dramatically (more than once even!!), but then there’s also this moment of Kunzite just picking up (already unconscious) Mamoru and laughing about it, and I can’t stop thinking about it, it’s just so GLORIOUS!!!
Been watching and rewatching the Nogizaka46 Sailor Moon musical, specifically Team Moon from 2018 because I ended up liking that one best. It’s been on my mind for over a month; I love it SO much!!!! I like so much about it, actually, but most of all things I adore Mikako Ishii’s performance as Tuxedo Mask. She single-handedly made me enjoy usamamo, so I had to give her some credit for that by drawing fanart hehe. Gonna upload some more in the next few days!!
Chibi rendition of one of my favourite moments in the Nogizaka sera myu. It’s only a few seconds long, and almost at the very end of the entire musical during the Moonlight Densetsu number, but it’s so wonderfully silly and glorious, I’m so glad I can look at it in gif form again and again //D
Drew these without using any references after watching Nogimyu for like the sixth time… I wanted to see if I could at least make Mikako look a bit like herself in my style so I could draw her in any future fanart featuring Mamoru /D
