whenever a new year starts, i tend to cry. may it be out of relief, disbelief, or gratitude – somehow, i feel so much and everything at once and i get overcome. this time, i feel like i’m leaving something important behind and whatever it is, i’m grieving for it, only for a few moments. if you tend to feel the same way at this time every year, you are seen, and this is for you.
