am really happy to be part of this collection, alongside other amazing SEA artists ✨ i designed a tape that collages uniquely Filipino icons and objects – rolled up together all dreamy-like (and i’m so in love with the gold foil! aaaaaa!!)
i love the esoteric art that already exists here in the PH, and i hope that this lil tribute to things i love abt my culture makes a nice addition! are there icons you already recognize? ✨

whenever a new year starts, i tend to cry. may it be out of relief, disbelief, or gratitude – somehow, i feel so much and everything at once and i get overcome. this time, i feel like i’m leaving something important behind and whatever it is, i’m grieving for it, only for a few moments. if you tend to feel the same way at this time every year, you are seen, and this is for you.
we may have lost, loved, and burned ourselves out the past few years, but despite all of that, we are still worthy of being filled with blessings and joy. wishing you a gentle and nicer 2022 ahead! take care. ✨
