Out today: the first article in Dr. Michael Lawton’s 7 Cavernomas, “Recurrent brainstem cavernous malformations following primary resection: blind spots,” published in the Journal of Neurosurgery. The first image, created by me and Mark Schornak, depicts the anatomy of the blind spot: the surgical corridor comprises 1) the craniotomy; 2) a subarachnoid, cisternal, or ventricular segment; 3) a parenchymal segment; and 4) an intralesional segment.
