So a while ago I decided I wanted to make my own version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because I saw a few other designs for an idea like this and thought, “Oh why the hell not?”

The designs are in first drafts (most likely final because I’m not an avid artist and this took too long) and I’m fleshing out their characters. I have yet to think about others like Splinter, April, and Casey, but for now, all I’ve got are the bros plus Venus!

I’ll probably do separate posts explaining each turtle in my version, but for now, have their character sheets!

All tmnt 2012 Y/N wattpad fics have 1 or more of the following components

1. You have a shitty home life and eventually move in with the turtles, because the sewers are apparently the height of luxury and sanitized.
2. If it is a y/n x turtles fic, specifically y/n x Donnie, April will be written to be more of a bitch than you remember. Like, unrealistically. Like it gets bad.
3. You get fucking kidnapped at some point. Like just expect it 2/3rds of the way in.
4. You’re a written as a carbon copy of the turtle you are with if it is y/n x turtle
5. Casey will flirt with you once (1) and your turtle will fucking threaten his life.

as much as I like All Seeing Leo stories where he totally knows the reader likes him, I will KILL for Comically Oblivious Leo who is smart and perceptive in battle but not at ALL in relationships. like shoujo love interest levels of obliviousness. The himbo energy of it all

I started reading 2012 tmnt fanfiction before actually watching the show beyond clips so I had NO IDEA what Fishface looked like.

I thought… I thought he would look cooler ;-;

I have no clue where the mental picture came from but I imagined him as a banded eel mutant with an expressive eel face and like. Robo-Gills. 100% did not realize he had fucking LEGS I thought he just slithered around the sewers being a rapscallion
