- You two became friends in the hospital
- You were not a military like him, but you understood his way to break the rules sometimes in order to save people and supported him most of the times, so TC grew fond of you by that
- First time you go out for drinks together after a rough case at the hospital, you end up spending the whole night sharing stories of your lives before you met
- He spoke a lot about working on the field
- You, told him about med school and how you had moved away from your hometown to San Antonio
- Your friendship grows from there and before you even realize, TC knows all about you, you know all about him and almost every day after shifts you’re staying at each other’s house, sharing food while watching some random stuff on tv
- At some point, you two decide to be roommates because it would save you both some money, so you buy an apartment together and that’s it
- During the weekends, when TC comes home with someone, you always share that funny moment when he looks at you and puts his thumbs up in excitement
- You laugh hard when that happen
- When you are the one with someone home, TC makes teasing comments that make you want to kill him
- But that’s what friends are for, right?
- You two and Topher quite often get together to share beers at the closest bar and you can see how much the military still affects them
- Whenever TC has a breakdown, you are there for him. He’s your best friend, you would do anything to make him feel better
- TC hugs you tightly in those days, thanks you for being there
- You take care of him, like you knew he needed
- You two always have fun when learning about all the hospital’s new gossip at the reception
- Truly, you’re both very special to each other

- When you first invite him, Lex doesn’t want to go. He thinks it’ll be childish and not fun at all
- But he loves you, so when you insist and insist some more, he gives up and accompanies you to the fair
- For some time, you have to actually drag hom around and make him play some of the games with you, and he’s just rolling his eyes and saying
- “Whatever”
- But then, when you two go to the ferris wheel together and he is sitting up there with you, sees the smile on your face and everything seems amazing quite suddenly
- And after you get down, he just pulls you close, kisses you and tells you he loves you
- That subtle change makes you chuckle and he is amused by it, then from now on, is he who is pulling you along and to do other activities
- He gets quite competitive in a target game with a little boy and you just laugh all the way through it, especially when Lex ends up loosing at the end
- You two share a giant pink cotton candy
- Popcorn is also on the menu later when you’re watching a clown do some tricks with balloons
- It turns out it was a very nice afternoon, just you and Lex, enjoying the fair and each other’s company
- When you’re going back home, still finishing your second cotton candy, this time a green one, Lex pulls you close and kisses your forehead
- “Thank you for today, darling”
- And you only reply by putting a piece of candy in his mouth and smiling
- “Anytime, jackass”

- Honestly, Lancelot tried to blame himself for how he felt when he was near you
- But how could he, when you were such an incredible person? How wasn’t everyone in love with you?
- His heart beated faster when you laughed, when you smiled, when you so much as greated him at the city
- The thing Lancelot found the most beautiful about you though, was the fact that you did not make a difference between people regarding their social position
- You treated everyone the same, were they a simple blacksmith or a princess, and that was fascinating to him
- Lance knew better than to try to act on those feelings
- You were a noble, he knew he had no chance
- Also, the King would probably have him killed for even getting close to you
- Also, Arthur was not at all pleased about those feelings at first
- Not because Lancelot was not a noble or something like that, but because he was a jealous brother and it was actually kind of funny
- Merlin laughed so hard whenever Arthur saw you and Lancelot together that he would make Arthur so mad he would have to polish his armour twice on the same day as a punishment
- Lance was so noble he would not make any moves on you, afraid of being too forward since he had no evidence you felt the same way about him
- But then he did, when you put aside your manners as a noble and everything you had been thought about prudence and simply kissed the man
- Lancelot thought that amazing kiss would be the end of him
- To have you in his arms, well, that meant everything to him
- You began to do a bit of sneaking around after that, because there was no doubt left about your feelings for one another
- If Uther even dreamed about it, you two would be in trouble
- Merlin knows about you two, of course he does. The young man is very perceptive and being your friend, well, he saw the feelings right in your face in no time
- Arthur takes a while to figure it out
- When he does though, he is outraged, finding it absurd that Lancelot had sneaked his way into your heart and chambers
- But then, he got a glimpse of just how much you loved each other one day and then the future King of Camelot had no option but to accept your relationship
- He loved you, and he was happy you had found someone so good, loyal and trustworthy as Lancelot to have as yours
- When he tells you that, you practically jump out of happiness and hugs your brother tightly, because his support meant the world to you
- Lancelot shakes his hand and smiles like he had never before
- Actually, he was very certain he was living the best time of his life
- He had you, after all
- And no treasure was greater than that to him

- Your family had always been your safe harbor
- With so many siblings, you were barely never alone and you really liked that, the fact of always having someone you loved around
- When you grow up, of course, you all get distant from each other inevitable and it makes you quite sad, to see how your siblings often prefer not to see the others
- The closest to you is your twin, Steven, who never failed to call you every single day and that connection you two have is really special
- When you mention the others and Steven doesn’t seem so excited to see them as he always is to see you, you make sure to reprimand him
- When you all arrange meetings, well, of course there are fights here and there
- Sometimes, the fights get out of hand and the shouting can be heard from the outside of the apartment
- And you are always there in the middle of those fights, trying to break them apart and make them see that they are siblings, they love each other and are a family
- Sometimes you manage, sometimes you don’t. Sometimes it ends with you crying because of the others actions and Steven taking you away by the hand because he can’t stand to see you crying
- When Nell dies, it’s such a shock you aren’t able to keep yourself together
- You fall apart and Steven is there to help you pick the pieces up, gladly
- At the meantime, you wondered about Luke and made it your duty to make him come home and stay with you, because you couldn’t even imagine how much pain he was in
- He and Nell’s connection had always been beautiful and twins felt the other go, some people said
- You hoped it was a lie because you would not stand that if something ever happened to Steven
- Bringing Luke to stay with you turns out to be the right thing, and you really appreciate your brother’s company
- He, loves to have you around and just spend time with you, eating a meal or watching something on the TV
- He refuses to talk about Nell. It hurts too much, and you’re not going to force him if that’s not what he desires
- When you meet the other’s for the funeral, it breaks your heart and yet sparks you with a little bit of love to see them all there
- Shirley hugged you so tightly on the way in that you felt really, really good for a moment
- Theo was always minding her own business around the family, but she knew you were the most sensitive of all so when you came in with tears in your eyes already, she smiled and came to pat you in the back
- After the ceremony is over and you’re all outside leaving, you can’t stop yourself and you scream at them
- So loudly and suddenly that they all stop and look at you with their foreheads frown, because you had never screamed before
- You were the one who broke away the fights and the arguments, you had never before started one
- But then you did, saying how much you hated the fact that they did not like to have the other around, that their stupidity had broken the family apart and when Nellie died, she had not seen them in more than three months
- “And now we will never see her again” you mumbled between your tears. “So perhaps you all should stop behaving like the children you once were and accept the fact that we are a family and that is not going to change if you just stay away!”
- They all just stared at you and of course, Steven was the one to approach you and hug you tightly. Luke was the next, crying and nodding because you knew he agreed to everything you had just said
- The girls looked at each other for a moment, before they came to you themselves and promised to try to be better
- And you smiled. You believed them.
- After that things really got better, you all saw each other regularly and where there for each other, especially for Luke to help him recover from his addiction
- Your family seemed somewhat whole again and whenever you were all together, without fighting, just enjoying each other’s company, you would mumble to yourself
- “I hope you’re seeing this, Nell”
