I went with a #marsattacks inspired #jackolanterndoodle for the day 13 of #31jackolanterns (whoops, last one was mis-numbered and was actual the 12th) this one was supposed to look like an #alienpumpkin but it ended up looking more like a #carvedwatermelon I think!

I’m behind but I’m still trying to decide how I want to do #31jackolanterns this year. Year 1 I preprinted a one page of precolored #pumpkins to turn into #jackolanterns Year 2 I split it between two pages and colored and few the faces with #markers and #micronpens
I can’t decide if I want to predraw the pumpkins this year or if I should do one per page. I like doing the pages if someone wants to join in.

Forgot to post yesterday’s #jackolantern #pumpkin #doodle I saw a #pumpkincarving where the #pumpkin had #bats for eyes and mouth and tried to mimic is. I think my bats turned out a lot more stylized and not very batty, but I like how it turned out.
