anyway blah blah blah five year plan doesn’t exist bc they didn’t know about the angels until the writers strike BUT. it literally drives me insane to know that pre-angels the plan was for sam to go full boyking of hell in order to rescue dean from the demon deal and then turn evil and then dean was going to have to kill him at stull cemetery. like that was the plan. and even though it all got shifted to the left with the introduction of the angels this is undoubtedly why season 5 is like that re: sam needing to atone for something. like hello. like sam was absolutely going to hell no matter what which is. crazy. and this is where i out myself as watching a forty minute supernatural interview that one time but literally they live in lawrence because it’s near stull cemetery which has local ghost stories about being a gate to hell. dean was going to kill sam and send him to hell can you even IMAGINE. and eric was like yeah i’ll keep that in. sam literally didn’t even turn evil but yeah let’s send him to hell anyway. Word up
