i watched this analysis in which it was explained that Germany and France don’t want Ukraine to join the EU cause that would basically mean a massive shift of power within Europe - from Germany + France to Poland + Ukraine. and to that i say: let’s fucking do it. also: fuck them for being so used to being in a position of power that both Macron and Scholz would rather see Putin win than let Ukraine develop within the EU
