Postawmy sprawy jasno: na zegarze już dawno temu wybiła północ, co oznacza, iż pora jest na tyle bandycko późna, że przyzwoici ludzie nie powinni podejmować już żadnych aktywności. Nie licząc, ma się rozumieć, tych spośród nich, które sprowadzaja się do spogladania na powieki od strony wewnętrznej.
Dla prawdziwego miłośnika sztuki filmowej w wydaniu błockbusterowym, prawdziwą zbrodnią byłoby, jednakowoż, odstąpienie od opublikowania na łamach prowadzonego przezeń bloga przynajmniej części spośród niebywale gorących materiałów pochodzących z nadchodzących przebojów.

SZCZEGÓŁY FABUŁY ORAZ PIERWSZE OFICJALNE FOTKI Z “AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON”
Jakiś czas temu, mając świadomość, iż nawał obowiązków służbowych skutecznia uniemożliwia mi regularne aktualizowanie bloga - co stało się naturalnie źródłem mojego wielkiego smutku i narastającej frustracji - postanowiłem sobie, że do “pisania”, jakkolwiek buńczucznie by to nie brzmiało, powrócę w momencie publikacji pierwszego teasera filmu “Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies”. Czyli, co warto nadmienić, lada dzień.
W ten sposób, zagryzając jednak przy tym zęby do tego stopnia, że aż wydawały się być bliskie pęknięcia, powstrzymałem się od pisania m.in. na temat postępów w pracach na planie siódmego epizodu “Star Wars”. Wierzcie mi na słowo; miałem poczucie, że ilekroć tylko w sieci pojawiała się jakaś ciekawa informacja, zdjęcie, zwiastun, bądź też po prostu miałem chęć podzielenia się z Wami wrażeniami z seansu - choćby “Ewolucji Planety Małp”, a pozostając wiernym swemu postanowieniu nie mogłem niczego z tym uczynić, część mojej duszy umierała. Kawałek po kawałaku.
Dobrze, nie ma co rozdzierać szat. Dość powiedzieć, że wraz z publikacją pierwszych, oficjalnych zdjęć z “Avengers: Age of Ultron” czara goryczy została przelana, a ja zdecydowałem się, niewiele przy tym myśląc, podzielić się nimi z Wami za pośrednictwem BlogBastera.
Jako że godzin wyjścia do pracy zbliża się nieuchronnie, pozwolę sobie tylko powiedzieć, że poziom mojej ekscytacji najnowszym filmowym przedsięwzięciem Marvela wzrósł, jakkolwiek mogłoby się to wydawać niemożliwe, jeszcze bardziej. Kto wie - może kinowa premiera “Guardians of the Galaxy” przyniesie nam ze sobą również debiut pierwszego teasera?
Jeśli zas chodzi o fabułę: potwierdzają się przypuszczenia, iż Ultron będzie zbuntowanym tworem Tony'ego Starka. Stworzony z myślą o przewodzeniu armii dronów walczących z bezprawiem (w chwilach, w których Avengersi oddają się zasłużonemu odpoczynkowi), obdarzony intelektem dorównującym swemu twórcy, znalazł odpowiedź na nurtujące go pytanie: jak zapewnić światu pokój?
Odpowiedź brzmi: unicestwić wroga numer 1; rasę ludzką.

First of all, you’re perfectly welcome to disagree with me. This is just my opinion. And besides the bits of Marvel canon that could have been explained better, and the weird non-mutant origin story of the Maximoff Twins (They’re X-Men guys… born mutants. But yes, I know they can’t mention them being X-Men or mutants because 20th Century Fox owns the X-Men rights.), I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
I have to admit I am NOT a Brucetasha shipper. But a lot of people have been saying that they completely messed up Natasha’s character in this and I just don’t see it. Yeah, her getting captured and having to be rescued did bug me somewhat but she got captured risking her life to secure the containment chamber, while Steve was actually the distraction. She was doing the real work. And she was smart enough to automatically get in touch with Hawkeye as soon as she was brought to Ultron’s lair. Without her, they probably wouldn’t have found where Ultron was in time to save the day. She wasn’t completely useless and pining after Bruce the whole time. Though like I said, them together isn’t something I’m crazy about.
The other big issue people are talking about is her referring to herself as a monster because she was sterilized. While I admit that the dialogue in that scene could have been structured better, this is NOT what Natasha was saying. Bruce was telling her that there was no future being with him because he is volatile and there’s no way he could have kids or a wife/girlfriend for fear of hurting them. He referred to himself as a monster. Natasha addressed the kid issue regarding herself by saying that she couldn’t have kids either, to alleviate his fears. But then she goes on to tell him that during the Black Widow graduation ceremony, they sterilized her so that she would never have children… because that could be “the one thing that would be more important than killing.” The people who trained her didn’t want anything to ever be more important than her missions. And a child could be more important than that. She was showing hatred in this scene for what they had done to her… because what they had done to her was monstrous. She wasn’t a monster because she was sterile. She believed she was a monster because she had been made into the perfect, remorseless killing machine. The sterilization was just part of the graduation ceremony… it was the meaning behind the sterilization that she viewed as monstrous. The fact that they wanted to take everything from her except killing, so that nothing else could matter more. And the fact that she has been a killer, and she let them use her for a time… that’s why she feels like a monster. Not because she can’t have children.
I kept thinking that Tasha was saying she was a monster cuz she was sterilized… But then my boyfriend explained it the same way OP did. She’s saying she can’t have kids and so that’s not a concern for being with Bruce, and the whole monster thing is referring to the fact that she’s a killer.
you know, when Marvel did that shitty plotline about Cap being a Hydra agent (aka a Nazi) I wasn’t pleased, but I saw a ton of activity on my dash about it. People were angry. I think it was trending on Twitter.
personally, as a Jewish girl, I was a lot more hurt when the MCU had Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, two Jewish and Rroma children of Holocaust survivors, whitewashed and volunteer to join Hydra. And when that happened, I never saw a single post about it. No one cared, even though the thing with Cap was a gimmick, and the thing with the twins was outright ignorant anti-Semitism.
I understand that Steve Rogers is everyone’s favorite white guy. I understand. but if you care more about that than the Romanoffs, then I’m not sure you understand much of anything.
I see that the same writer who did Captain America is a Nazi has written Magneto is a Hydra Nazi too. and I see exactly oneperson on my dash posting about it.
now, maybe it’s my own fault for following the wrong blogs. maybe I expected too much of people, to care about things like this, things that affect Jews.
when I made a post about the Cap thing a few months back, I was yelled at by a Holocaust denier and whined at by a white German who was “tired of being blamed” for history, as though history is not our responsibility, as though history is not always right beside us.
so here is my post about the Magneto-Nazi-Hydra thing: the political climate has been harshly anti-Semitic lately. it’s been anti- a lot of things obviously. but my people’s cemeteries are being destroyed, my people’s places of worship and community are being threatened, I have seen more swastikas this year than I have in the past five, and Marvel just put their single most iconic Jewish character in line with their fictional Nazi order. and one fucking person on my dash is talking about that.
I expected better. I don’t know why I expected better. no one in this modern world seems to know how to treat Jews. are we people of color? are we a minority? are we white? are we all Zionists? what are we and where do we fit?
you don’t need to have all the answers. I know I don’t. it would just be nice to know that someone gives a shit, now of all times, about how my people get represented and treated in the media. there’s been so much anti-Semitism in the news lately, maybe you don’t know what to say. to say about the real news or this Marvel plotline or any of it.
so you know. if you even care at all about something that harms my community much more than everyone’s favorite white guy getting a stupid plotline, could you say something? anything? don’t just “like” a post, it’s useless. if you don’t know what to say, reblog this, reblog something else, I don’t care how you do it, just say something. anything.

I have criticized Age of Ultron numerous times to my very understanding and patient friends, but never because of Pietro and Wanda. Truth be told, I never even thought about it. I took it for granted that the twins are canonically Jewish and Romani and didn’t think of the ramifications of them joining Hydra. But it’s not okay. It will never be okay, and it’s disheartening that it took the debacle with Hydra!Cap for people (myself included) to notice. The best thing allies can do is to raise up the voices of others, so if you see this, reblog it, show a friend, keep the conversation going. Spread Jewish voices, black voices, LGBT voices, EVERYONE’S VOICES. Celebrate Pietro and Wanda’s heritage. Make sure no one forgets where our heroes come from.
