Never, in my life, did I think that I, an asexual, would feel seen by a CW show. But I very much did, so let’s talk about how Alex Manes made that happen for me.

*spoilers for 2x06, if you weren’t already spoiled lmao. CW for discussion of sexual situations*

All of this!

Also… I think part of what Alex is categorizing as “hell” is the idea of someone tempting and taunting him with the idea of what just happened. He saw it as an impossible wish, and he says that “if someone told me” that this would happen, he’d assume he was being tormented in hell…and the torment would be wanting what he can’t have.

Yes. Exactly. I read the “hell” of that comment as someone telling him about it in a context that he wouldn’t have actually been able to have it. Being teased with the idea of it by someone. “If you told (past tense) me” – in the past when this wasn’t even a possibility of ever happening–hearing that comment would be a circle of hell.  He agrees with Michael that he felt loved–and then immediately makes a joke about it, deflecting the conversation away from his emotion. In my opinion, he’s doing that because, again, he thinks this isn’t something he can ever have. He’s said that if he could choose, he would choose Maria as well, so why would Michael choose him? It’s an impossible dream, and he walks away.

I unabashedly loved the threesome scene between Michael, Alex, and Maria.

If that’s not going to be your cup of tea today, you might want to scroll right on past.

To start, I love it for how much joy it brought everyone in my life.

As I re-watched this scene…this is exactly what I saw. Thank you for expressing it so well. The scene also fits with some of my personal experiences, and it just made so sense in light of what they all had just gone through and the need for safety and connection they must have been feeling.

Okay so here’s my two cents on episode 6 of Roswell, New Mexico as a real and honest to goodness homosexual gay man.  The threesome didn’t bother me nearly as much as it’s bothering everyone else.  I’m going to start from the beginning of the episode and work my way through to tell you why.

These are a lot of thoughts that I’ve been having. Thank you for your perspective, @musicfandomguy.

The subtlety of Tyler’s acting. That look of pained remembrance. God, this ship sails itself.

I’ve just downloaded Roswell NM tonight’s episode. Ready to watch while I paint my nails!!!

“I will miss staring into Michael’s eyes as we navigate the complex relationship that is Malex”

All I’m saying is if we don’t get a Malex “I love you” this season from BOTH of them, I’m calling my injury attorney and suing Roswell NMs writers for pain and suffering

June 6th. 59 days!

They return to me!

Hear me out: a drawing of Alex straddling Michael and they’re kissing.
