I am thinking about Alonzo gingerly holding Sillabub for the first time, who was so tiny she almost fit into one of his paws, gently touching her one black ear, and then that little inhale of surprise when her eyes fluttered open and he realized they were dark, just like his were. And he’s caught just…marveling at the weighted reality of the situation.
