one thing I will say multiverse of madness absolutely nailed is the aesthetic. the vibes. the cinematography. whatever I may think about the plot and character arcs, the movie was visually absolutely incredible. so many images from it were so beautiful or haunting or beautifully haunting. absolutely 10/10 aesthetic

As you may have seen in some sketches I posted a couple days ago, I’ve been reworking my first V. Her core design hasn’t changed, but I have greatly shifted her aesthetic and backstory, basically giving her a more balanced story and something I’m much happier with.
I still love her original design and aesthetic, so maybe view this as an alternative look?

In her original design, V looks much closer to the canon 27 years old. But here, I feel they look more like 23-25 at most.
It’s fascinating how such simple changes can make a character feel so different.
I love it, maybe I’ll even draw a piece featuring both versions of this V; they contrast so nicely!
Here’s the condensed process:
This piece was as much of a challenge as it was fun. I’ve never attempted to render latex (the bodysuit) or vinyl (the skirt) before, so I was really worried about getting it right. I know I’m not exactly there, but I got close enough to be satisified with the textures.
Also, there’s something weirdly satisfying about putting that layer of vinyl over everything.

You can get a better look at the process of this piece. There’s alot of detail here, making this about as labour-intensive as every Cyberpunk piece I’ve done, but as with them this was a labour of love.
This V is so different to the one I drew previously; my Corpo V. It was quite refreshing, honestly!
