Nose tapping is in all my omegaverse aus.
Nose tapping is exactly what it sounds like, it’s when individuals will rub and or bump/boop their noses together. This is often a form of greetings in close friendships, relationships and families. It also could be a form of reassurance. Nose taps are also a way to make your bond stronger, since you’re getting close to their scent glands around the area.It can also help to be able to distinguish their pups and kiddies from others. Whether a strangers or if you have many. While they can see the differences, it’s always good to make sure by scent.

Who said anything abt need? You know what we need? For you to sit your beautiful tushy in a moderately to very soft surface, grab a pillow or one of your stuffies, shut your annoyingly pretty mouth and Let. Us. Love. You! Don’t stop us from doing things for you unless there’s a serious reason for it. It’s a certain way to make your Alpha not just angry/upset but also miserable in the long run.
We know that you can do stuff on your own, we love seeing you do stuff as well. But if we said we’ll cook for you, do the laundry, pay for food, read your book to you while you sit with us/on our lap, brush or wash your hair, give you a message, etc, don’t say “you don’t have to/I can do it”.
We already know that. We’re not doing it because we think you’re incapable, we’re doing it because we love you and want to feel needed and useful.
Unless your Alpha is threading on an uncomfortable, painful or possibly triggering act, let them feel needed. Shutting them down frequently over nothing but pride and insecurity that they think “you’re weak and useless” will make them feel weak and useless.
Most Alphas will not ever think you’re weak and useless but if you’re in a relationship where that is unclear you shouldn’t even be in said relationship in the first place. Relationships are not supposed to be built on mistrust and insecurity like that. There’s something amiss either with how you two are communicating, with how you feel abt yourself or how they feel abt you. Find it and fix it.
Otherwise, please remember: Alphas need to feel needed. If they feel like you don’t need them or that they’re irrelevant in your life, they’re like roses in a drought. They wilt quickly. Strength and independence are important, ofc. But alphas need that little bit extra reassurance no matter what.

Word count: ~2400Alfred F. Jones has been working out at the same gym since he moved to the city after college. He has always been very athletic, even for an alpha. Now, at twenty-three years old, having no mate (having never had even a long-term relationship) he has a lot of pent-up energy to work off and most of his evenings are spent exercising.
Like most public gyms, this one releases a fine mist of chemicals into the air which are meant to dull the scent and sense of smell of its patrons. But, like most public gyms, the patrons of this one have self-segregated and it’s mainly known as a gym that alphas and betas frequent. Even with the scent suppressants, most omegas and many betas prefer to exercise without the presence of too many alphas. Conversely, many alphas find it less distracting to work out with only other alphas and betas.
That’s fine, but even so, Alfred firmly believes that everyone should be able to do whatever they want, go wherever they want, and be whoever they want—though many might disagree and say an omega’s place is at home or that they should only be out with their mate or an alpha family member. But Alfred is certain that everyone has the right to make their way in the world regardless of type and it’s a right he would fight to defend if ever the situation arose. So, of course, he doesn’t care about which types frequent the same gym as he does.
He just wishes that one particular omega didn’t apparently share his political views.

Disabled Omegaverse Headcanons
Quick disclaimer that I myself am not physically disabled (which most of these are about) but I will try to do them justice. If anything comes across as rude it is ignorance not malevolence.
- Alphas in wheelchairs- ripped from all those arm/core workouts. Able to gaze up at the mark on their Mates neck during the day and see their mark and just being incredibly smug all day.
- When some stranger grabs their wheelchair without asking the Alpha Voice comes Out they will not put up with that
- Their girl/boyfriend having to lean down to say something in a crowded place and their scent is all in the alphas face! Cue the blushing Alpha and then partner when they realized they got them all riled up
- Betas with prosethics getting artifical scents put in and Oh no they didn’t realize it would smell that strong ugh
- Omega with epilepsy starts having a hard time hearing or thinking. They come around to the smell of a panicked alpha or beta while a bunch of omega try to calm everyone down. (On that note them having an episode and all of a sudden everyone’s scent is just wrong and awful and was something burning?)
- Blind omegas wacking people in the ankles with their cane when someone gets too close or tries to be an asshole
- Deaf betas, being more aware of scents even with weaker glands, can tie certain smells in with certain signs to get a particular point across.
