OK so it’s been a hot minute, but two things I must share somehow or I’ll explode
Number one: I bought this shirt today and it is the coolest thing I’ve ever owned.
Number two: I just found out there’s going to be a supernatural convention in Jacksonville next year???? I can not even explain how stoked I am, they’ve always been too far away for me before I can’t believe there will finally be one I can actually go to ヾ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ

im in the trenches crying screaming and fighting for my life because anyone who has ever spent any time with my 6 year old stepdaughter can clearly see she has autism. she has all the classic symptoms, and we’ve been pushing and pushing to get her assessed. her school finally referred her for an assessment…for ADHD. their reasoning? she has empathy, talks to her classmates, and shows emotion, so she cannot possibly have autism. my stepdaughter has 2 autistic parents, her paternal grandmother is autistic, and they said this to her mothers face, the woman who also has autism, that essentially autistics are unfeeling cold people and my stepdaughter cries! she laughs! she has friends! and as we all know autistic people cannot possibly have friends, we’re too cruel and cold.
this ableist rhetoric has been disproven so many times by specialists, but of course a random primary school teacher who has no psychiatric training whatsoever knows better.
can we please retire this bullshit ableist rhetoric i am begging
