Let’s go 30 to 40 years back in time. To the years of Walkman, mixed tapes, mullets and neon colored baggy clothes. This is a Headcanon on the songs our MLQC boys would request for MC on a radio show and which ones MC would send them in return.
Kiro
Kiro is our bubbly boy who is the most versed one musically among the LIs and would probably be a rock star himself in the 80s filling all kinds of stadiums up to the last row and beyond. For him and MC I can’t help and think about feel good viby tunes.
MC is one in a million, the lucky Fan who has the proud winner of legendary Kiro’s heart. She runs around her house getting prepared for her date singing… “I should be so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky”
Stuck in a cartoon, not being able to overcome the boundary between fiction and reality but is trying to save the girl he loves with everything he has, be it from close or far or even from the shadows. All he wants is her to take on him

Lucien
Of all the guys, the song for Lucien ia crystal clear. This man, whose solitude has been a monochromic and cold castle made of stone in which he has surrounded himself with an everlasting apathy, was shaken to his core when this woman has entered his world infiltrating through the cracks of this stone castle with her tenderness right into his heart. This man, now, wants her to teach him how to love, he wants to know what love is.
MC on the hand has to live a constant state of oxymoron as she cannot bear to get too close to him, afraid to get hurt again but also cannot fight her instincts that are telling her to see beyond the apathetic façade he’s showing and to see the Iridescence of a dream world he can show her. This is her answer to him asking her to teach him how to love:

Victor
Oooh Vicky, a man of sorrow, a man of a 10.000 wait, a man of "tough love”. Underneath his armour this guy has only one thing that his heart desires and it’s nothing than her love. Nothing else, he is ready to face all the punishments time and space can put through or how many light-years he has to travel through to find her again. He’s down to any and every challenge because Nothings ever gonna change his love for her:

MC is thankful for the hardened skin she has thanks to Victor’s mentoring and is more than willing to play her part whenever a new unknown is ahead or she has to survive through hardships. She’s ready for it all.

Gavin
I tell you one thing, this song is so Gavin that if Gavs lived in the 80s, he would be the one who wrote the lyrics of it I mean, Rick is even wearing a beige raincoat and all-denim, could it get any more “Gavinier” than that I ask you. Aside from the chorus which is Gavin’s promise in a nutshell these lines describe their S2 dynamic:
“We’ve known each other for so long
Your heart’s been aching but you’re too shy to say it
Inside we both know what’s been going on
We know the game and we’re gonna play it
I just wanna tell you how I’m feeling

They share a long history together but due to their positions there is a perpetual cold war going on between them and even though they never suspect each other’s heart’s contents they keep playing this “love game” and we poor Gavin stans cannot do anything but wait for the day this game will have a winner, our lovebirds that is.
MC is tightly bound by the shackles of faith and carries a heavy crown of being the Queen. Has to courageously face death, loss and calamities many times and she feels lonely, tired, nervous and terrified. Especially at those times she needs the presence of the bright eyes, wants them to turn around and wants the bearer of these eyes to hold her tight… forever.
Shaw
Our hot/cold rebel Shaw is not the type of guy to send a lovey dovey sing to MC, no no no. He wouldn’t even accept that he is in love easily and would play it “cool” until he can’t.
Also strolling on the high-value musical side of life, he would only choose a song from a music legend if he can’t help it.

MC is left in a dilemma by this unforeseeable, complex guy whose words and acts are in a daily roller-coaster. Does he love her, does he dislike her? Is he reliable? What’s his deal anyways and most importantly… Why must he be soo haaawt? How would she know?
