aoi feels sick during rehearsal and shows sign of fatigue, mikaduki realizes that aoi isn’t well and requests for a break, aoi collapse from his fever and is taken home to recover

02:09-06:16 - megami-ryou no ryoubo-kun - episode 10 (episode time stamp start: 4:35 and continues until the end of the episode) ⚠️ content warning, read note below for more details ⚠️

koushi collapses at the supermarket from a fever and is taken home to recover, has a nightmare and there is a lot of heavy breathing while he sleeps, atena volunteers to nurse him back to health, his fever worsens and starts to call out to atena in his sleep

NOTE: so this anime in particular is a harem/ecchi and contains a lot of nudity (I prefer not to have to watch these kinds of anime tbh eyeroll, but this episode I found did have fever whump sigh) so what I included was the main takeaways from the episode in terms of koushi’s fever and not the “other stuff"… if you are not into ecchi/harem like me, just refer to this shorted version of the episode and do not watch the episode in its entirety

06:17-10:00 - princess connect! re:dive - episode 5 (episode time stamp start: the entire episode revolves around the main character being sick)  

yuuki develops a fever and it gets worse the next day, is taken to a "hospital” to get treated and his stay ends up turning to a rescue mission and escaping from some crazy doctors

something about heavy breathing when a anime boy gets sick is just music to my ears, not sure if that’s just me being weird or if others like that as well lol…. also, this is something different that I’ve done, usually I just focus on one anime, but since a lot of the episodes I have noted down in my doc are single episodes from random animes, I’d figure that I would compile them into a post and not just leave them sitting there… I’m going to be making more of these

0:00-1:34 - episode 11 (episode time stamp start: 7:07 until 8:09and11:06 until 11:37)

eichi faints after pushing himself too hard and is taken to infirmary, tears up from the fear of dying from his illness

1:35-3:22 - episode 15 (episode time stamp start: 20:09 until the end of the episode)

hibiki is concerned about eichi catching a cold, eichi almost faints and some eichi angst as he vents about being ill and struggling to catch up to the others, falls asleep on hibiki’s shoulder

3:23-5:49 - episode 22 (episode time stamp start: 0:09 until 2:14and5:53 until 6:12)

eichi is coughing and can’t really breathe while he’s in the hospital, feels like he’s really going to die but hibiki (his guardian angel at this point lol) rescues him from his room, more eichi coughing but acts like it’s nothing, eichi is seen panting hard and exhausted

so it seems that I have found another singer who was ill since birth but still doesn’t give up on what they want to do besides nanase riku, niceI wanted to wait till after the semester is over to start posting again, but I couldn’t help it with these whump episodes I found a couple of days ago, oops

on another note, I’m starting to ship hibiki and eichi cause during eichi’s whump moments, hibiki seems to always be there for him, he really is his guardian angel lol they’re so cute uwu if I ever end up watching the whole show or play the game, it’ll probably be because of these eichi/hibiki moments uwu

episodes: 10-12

0:00-2:47 - episode 10 (episode time stamp start: 14:39 and continues throughout the rest of the episode)

takamiya completes a contract with the town and receives an immense amount of power, passes out (implied but not actually shown), can’t really stand up on his own, senses the pain from the other witches who got hurt, is about to use his newly received powers but is knocked out by kagari who headbutts him

2:48-5:13 - episode 11 (episode time stamp start: 0:00 *it really starts at around 5:58* and continues throughout the rest of the episode)

takamiya is having a fever from his powers and is recovering, heavy breathing, his fever gets worse and is sweating a lot, is forced to wake up and body is in shock, still has his fever and collapses on the ground

5:14-6:35 - episode 12 (episode time stamp start: 3:00 and continues until around 9:05)

takamiya is sensing people dying and is in pain, tries to use his power and is rejected, collapses and goes unconscious, is stabbed from behind and pulls out the knife himself

note:there is aftercare shown when he gets stabbed (but not in my video), but it’s literally just “use magic and heal his stab wound” for like 3 seconds, which is kind of annoying, but hey, what can we do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I remember watching this show back when I was a sophomore in high school and I quite enjoyed watching this anime overall. Although there are other whump moments, they are very brief and are not from circumstances that are as significant such as in these three episodes which is why I only really go back to episode 10 through 12 when rewatching.

Too bad I don’t have the other whump moments from the show which I probably should have wrote down on my google doc when I was watching for the first time, but since I only wrote episode 10 through 12, I highly doubt that the rest were as big (or interesting) as these three episode, so you’re not missing much :)
