qwenthur and havia are caught in multiple explosions causing their jeep to flip over numerous times and explode, they are both found unconscious and heavily injured (especially qwenthur) and they are both taken for treatment, qwenthur has to go through emergency surgery and his heart stops beating at some point and the medical team had to use the defibrillator to get him back, he wakes up in bed, tries to sit up but is in pain (this happens twice) and barely manages to get up and walk on his own
the last one is honestly my favorite one from the list, like, OH MY GOODNESS, I love me some hospital/infirmary whump, and let me remind you that the whole thing in that episode LASTS AROUND 15 MINUTES… just… chef’s kiss
whump aside, I gotta say, I do love the bromance between qwenthur and havia uwu

on another note, I’m starting to ship hibiki and eichi cause during eichi’s whump moments, hibiki seems to always be there for him, he really is his guardian angel lol they’re so cute uwu if I ever end up watching the whole show or play the game, it’ll probably be because of these eichi/hibiki moments uwu

this is more on the lighter side of the whump that I usually watch and take note of, but since I found these out recently I thought I’d share :) when I first discovered this, I thought that tsuzuru would eventually reach a point where it is actually bad, but apparently he’s known for doing this type of thing and over the course of the show it’s not even taken seriously anymore cause everyone’s so used to him doing that lol

Just a reminder that not all the characters on this list are necessarily whumped in canon, as I asked for any characters people would enjoy seeing whump for (though each character probably gets whumped at least a little in their series, at least the ones I added on my own accord). Personally, I approached this as “Whose whump would I enjoy the most?” as opposed to “Who experiences the highest quality whump in canon imo?” But feel free to interpret it in any way you’d like!

just wanted to point out that negi does have a dream in the beginning of episode/ova 2 but we don’t get to see the wooden spear inside of him from a good angle, so here’s what it looks like in the manga

negi has developed a fever due to the heavy amount of magic that konoka put inside of him to get him healed, refuses to rest despite being in a very weak state, passes out (implied but not actually shown), collapses, feels guilty
note:I kept the beginning of kotarou and negi’s fight because in a way, this ishis aftercare lol… negi had to release the overwhelming amount of magic inside of him so them fighting with magic was the “medicine” he needed.

when I was younger (like 12/13), my best friend and I came across some books that were for free on a public book shelf and I happened to come across some volumes of the negima! series… I looked into the show and after seeing the whump, I went and watched all that I could from the series… despite the nudity and the fan service that goes on, I quite enjoyed the show and now I’m currently looking into completing the manga set for the anime uwu

note:there is aftercare shown when he gets stabbed (but not in my video), but it’s literally just “use magic and heal his stab wound” for like 3 seconds, which is kind of annoying, but hey, what can we do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I remember watching this show back when I was a sophomore in high school and I quite enjoyed watching this anime overall. Although there are other whump moments, they are very brief and are not from circumstances that are as significant such as in these three episodes which is why I only really go back to episode 10 through 12 when rewatching.
Too bad I don’t have the other whump moments from the show which I probably should have wrote down on my google doc when I was watching for the first time, but since I only wrote episode 10 through 12, I highly doubt that the rest were as big (or interesting) as these three episode, so you’re not missing much :)
a warning: this manga is pretty dang gory, but the whump for denji (pictured above) is off the charts. plus, it’s getting an anime soon, which means there will be audio for all the whumpy goodness!
