Whelp, here’s what I think happened! They put Vimes to bed with Sybil while he slept, and when he woke up, Young Sam was the first person he saw <333

Another painting of Vimes/Keel and young Sam from Night Watch because Night Watch is awesome. And it really yanked on my heartstrings with that wrenching scene in the Cable Street Watch House (if you’ve read the book, then you know what scene I’m talking about)!

But for those who don’t know this scene, Vimes is comforting young Sam (his younger self, because time travel) because he just saw some horrible things.

I finished reading Thud!, and Sally the vampire is quite a lot of fun! :DDD She’s described as having short hair in the book and can likely pass as a boy, but I thought it’d be cool to give her a poofy bob cut! Plus I think it makes her look like a medieval knight of sorts XDD

I finished reading Night Watch a few days ago (technically the day I posted the Sybil/Sam painting because I finish these studies fast loll), and can I just say – boy oh boy!! So here’s Sam Vimes acting as John Keel, taking a stroll with young Sam (because of time travel shenanigans and all XDD)

Young Vetinari from Night Watch (Discworld)! Initially I was going to try drawing old Vetinari, but I was having a bit of trouble on what the composition should be … And then I decided to go for my comfort zone of drawing young people loll

Sam Vimes and Lady Sybil, one of my favourite Discworld couples! :DDD I didn’t pin this down to any of the Watch books; you can imagine it as a simple sleepy scene XD I imagine there’s still some time before Vimes has to get up and go to work, so Sybil leaves him a good-luck kiss <333
