Estimada señorita Lightwood, espero que haya recibido la misma invitación al Musicale de los Townsends que el resto del Enclave. Escribo con la pregunta de si es su intención asistir, y para decirle que espero que lo haga y que espero verla allí. No es su tipo de fiesta, por supuesto (aburrida, burguesa y estirada, imagino que diría), pero como soy la hija del Inquisidor, rara vez puedo aparecer en las reuniones más animadas que son de su preferencia, como verá planeo asistir, tanto como preferiría estar en otro lugar. (¿En una de esas animadas reuniones, tal vez?) Catherine me cortará la cabeza si no estoy allí para quitarle a su madre de encima, por un lado, y por otro… bueno, deseo verla. Tengo entendido que su hermano y su ruidosa banda, o como se hagan llamar a sí mismos, planean estar allí. Así que también le escribo para implorarle que venga para que haya una cabeza más fría y cualquier explosión o implosión, o incluso alboroto de cualquier tipo, será, si no se previene, al menos más fácil de contener y limpiar después. Para el evento estoy pensando en un vestido que tengo, en un color rubí profundo, con un escote bastante llamativo. No soy una gran juez de mi propia apariencia, pero conozco Su gusto y me atrevo a decir que lo encontrará muy halagador. Por su parte, espero que use esos pantalones de raya diplomática que tiene. No se los has puesto y los extraño, o mejor dicho, extraño cómo elegantemente los llevas. En breve, espero verla ahí. Se que no es de su costumbre mantener las cartas de sus admiradores/as, sino usarlas para encender su chimenea. Tal vez también sea el destino de esta nota, pero deseo que no lo sea. For a while the book was out of stock for preordering on Amazon US and I don’t know if this was due to where i live or what but now it’s in atock and I preordered my copy but my question is does that mean that the book will not be a first edition and won’t have the extra stuff?? Or are any preorders will be first editions even after they were out od stock for a while!!!!

Can i just take a moment to say WHAT!!!! I mean seriously she gets attacked for “lack of representation” and also gets attacked for “over representation” I’m honestly confused and thoroughly pissed!!
In TWO days just TWO freakin days Chain of Gold is gonna be released and I’m sooooo ready to be thrown back in this world of pain and happiness and agony and more than ready to have my heart broken to pieces and shoved down my throat!!
