st_vincent: This is pretty much the same awkward pose and smile as my 7th grade Christmas dance picture. But in this one I’m not wearing my sister’s hand me down velour Espirit gown. I’d call it quite an upgrade. @prada@festivaldecannes

st_vincent: 36 hours in France to play a really fun show. Got to see my friend star in a movie. Got to meet one of my favorite directors of all time. Got to see some of my favorite musicians and old friends. Got to talk to some rad women after the livestream rebroadcast. Feeling very lucky. My heart is sick over the Texas elementary school shooting. Really glad Stacey Abrams won the nomination for Georgia. I dunno, everybody. Take care of yourselves. I guess we oughta do what Maggie Nelson says and practice radical kindness. I don’t have the answer. Just wishing everybody the best. st_vincent: I love @bryanferry_roxymusic so much. I know I’m not smiling in this picture cause I haven’t managed to figure out how to take a selfie without feeling like a thin layer of my waning dignity is being scrubbed away with turpentine each time. But believe me when I tell you that I’m so so so thrilled. Also, repping @electricladystudios hat and @idlesband tee shirt under this “cool mom with very important yoga errands to run” look.
